The BSB51407 - Diploma of Project Management will provide you with the skills and knowledge to plan and manage projects that achieve the goals and objectives important to project managers and an organisation, regardless of its line of business or industry. It gives a working knowledge of project management as well as an understanding of methods, techniques and tools available to help you manage your projects more effectivelyt.

Who Should Attend - Diploma of Project Management

This training is suited across all industry sectors such as sales/trade/manufacturing/services/retail/admin and more. It is for those who are currently Project Coordinators, Project Management Officer, Project Team Member, Project or Program Administrator and those who aspire to be so.

Diploma of Project Management Course Structure

Upskilleds' Diploma of Project Management programs are delivered by Upskilled's expert trainers in 9 full one day workshops (1 day per month) combined with in and out of class assessment and assignment work.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency

Pathways to the Qualification

1. After achieving the BSB41507 Certificate IV in Project Management or other relevant qualification/s OR
2. Providing evidence of competency in the majority of units required for the BSB41507 Certificate IV in Project Management or other relevant qualification/s OR
3. With extensive vocational experience in project roles where they may have had some limited responsibility for the output of others, and without a formal project management qualification..

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Many individuals may already be competent in one or more of the Diploma of Project Management (BSB41507) competencies. RPL is available for each Unit of Competency based on relevant workplace experience, formal training or other expertise. Recognition will involve your submission of evidence in a portfolio form to be assessed by Upskilled’s assessors.

Assessment

Assessment is through participation in the 9 structured workshops as well as carrying out some workplace projects.

Inclusions

Upskilled Project Management courses include detailed learning materials, assessments and certification on successful completion. Morning tea and lunch are also included in the course.

Funding and Investment Considerations

Upskilled's Diploma of Project Management has a course fee of $3890.

Upskilled has 2 payment options:

1. A single upfront payment of the course fees will attract a 10% discount. Total upfront fee is therefore $3500.
2. An enrolment fee of $490 upfront, and 8 x $425 paid prior to each module attendance (over 8-10 months). Total course fee over 12 months is therefore $3890.

Federal Government funding of $4000 is available to employers for the training of Diploma of Project Management for their employees. Refer to our Government Funding page for more information and to check your you're eligible.

Yes, you've read correctly, you as an employer sending your employee/s on Upskilled's Diploma of Project Management course will only pay a maximum of $3890, however, upon course completion, you will have received $4000 from the government to cover the cost of training for each employee.
