Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
(TAA40104)
The TAA40104 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment has been developed to cater to learners from a diverse range of backgrounds including those who are wishing to work in the training sector, those currently working in the training sector who wish to upgrade their qualifications and those in the workplace who are or will be involved in training and assessment. You will gain a Nationally Accredited qualification that will enable you to design, deliver and assess both workplace based and classroom based training programs
Who Should Attend - Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
This training is suited across all industry sectors such as sales/trade/manufacturing/services/retail/admin and more. It is for those who currently working as a trainer, or assessor or wanting to go down that career path.
Training & Assessment Course Structure
Upskilled Training and Assessment programs are delivered by Upskilled's expert trainers in 9 full one day workshops over 2 weeks, followed by a final full day workshop 3-4 weeks later. The workshops will be combined with in and out of class assessment and assignment work, where participants are involved in active discussion, networking, problem solving, and presentations.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Many individuals may already be competent in one or more of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) competencies. RPL is available for each Unit of Competency based on relevant workplace experience, formal training or other expertise. Recognition will involve your submission of evidence in a portfolio form to be assessed by Upskilled’s assessors.
Assessment
Assessment of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) will be conducted by Upskilled Trainers who have completed the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) or have equivalent competence. Assessments is through participation in the structured workshops and will involve collecting a range of evidence for making judgments of competency i.e. including essays, handouts, presentations and training programs. ; Observation assessments (classroom and workplace based); Project work assessments.
Inclusions
Upskilled Training and Assessment courses include detailed learning materials, assessments and certification on successful completion. Morning tea and lunch are also included in the course

Funding and Investment Considerations
Federal Government funding for this qualification is available to existing workers under the Productivity Places Program (PPP). Refer to our Government Funding page for more information and to check your you're eligible.
Participants undertaking training via PPP will be charged a student administration fee upon enrolment. The fees charged must be in line with TAFE NSW fees and exemption policies. The fees are subject to change.

- Upskilled will contact you ASAP to advise if you are eligible (Note: Completion and submission of an PPP Eligibility form will not constitute an enrolment on behalf of the student and will not oblige Upskilled to guarantee a position on any of the courses)

Upskilled Pty Ltd has signed a Co-Provider agreement with Tafe NSW- South Western Sydney Institute. All PPP Courses facilitated by Upskilled will have certificates issue via Tafe NSW- South Western Sydney Institute.
